Fred Thompson Lays It Down To A Meeting Of Restauranters

Unannounced GOP Presidential candidate Fred Thompson spoke Sunday in Chicago at a meeting of the National Restaurant Association. In the speech, he predicted that the "bipartisan proposal" on immigration will fail and that it won't resonate with the American people. He also warned of the threat posed by China, and called the situation, "The Day After Iraq." In the speech, he said the idea that it is too late for him to jump into the race is "baloney", but he said that he has to jump in at the right time if he is to have a chance.
