2008 GOP Presidential Update: Rep. Paul Tests Waters, Development Expected In Iowa This Weekend From Tancredo

In an unexpected move, Texas Congressman Ron Paul announced today that he has formed an exploratory committee to run as a Republican for the U.S. Presidency in 2008. Paul was the 1988 Libertarian nominee for the Presidency. Paul is someone who looks capable of uniting various conservatives, whether they are social, fiscal or both. He may fill the gap among people disgruntled by the way Washington works today. This is a development worth watching.

On another front, Colorado Congressman Tom Tancredo is expected to be in Iowa this weekend. A big development is expected there in the next few days. More to come, so keep it tuned here through the weekend!
